Different types of music motivates different students. Some of my students love learning to play classical composers such as Mozart and Beethoven. Some of my students love to play rock and pop music. Some love blues and jazz.

One of my students animated films and remembers all the music from these films. Naturally, I felt we had to play some with him and I was delighted to discover that such music is very beautiful and atmospheric. I would have never tried to play it myself so it was a nice surprise to discover this genre of music 🙂
