Diary of a Music Teacher: Diversifying the Music Curriculum; Where are all the Black Female Composers? :)

A colleague and a friend of mine has been doing some great work on diversifying the music curriculum. He has spoken and written books in particular about West African musical instruments and black female composers, delivered workshops on such themes and generally inspired teachers and education professionals to consider the representation of ethnic minorities in their music lessons and music curriculum.
