Diary of a Music Teacher: Invest in a Good Quality Musical Instrument

Buying a good quality musical instrument will cost a little more money initially, but it is really worth the investment. When you buy a good quality instrument, you have it for life. I have had the guitar in the picture for over 20 years and it still sound great and is in top condition. All I’ve had to do is to store it well and change the strings.

Pay £100 more for an instrument to get a good quality one that will last for a long time is really an investment worth making, You will make the money back from not having to buy another instrument any time soon! Also go for a brand that you know has a good reputation, such as Yamaha for guitar and piano or Makala for the ukulele. Brands have good reputations for good reasons; they are simply good brands!
