If you are an instrumental or singing teacher working on your own, it can be nice to connect with other teachers. There are many online forums nowadays where you can connect with others and share your experiences in the education field. What I have found a helpful thing to do is to connect with some teachers online who also primarily teach on their own from their homes or in their local areas. One very nice connection that I have made over the past years is a ukulele and guitar teachers based in California, USA. We have had many fun jamming sessions online and sharing of our experiences.
