Sometimes all you need is a good break! When term-time is so full on, it is important to take the time to recharge your batteries properly over school holidays. I am certainly feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after a great half-term break on the Isle of Wight. For those of you who are not familiar with the place, it is a relatively big island in the English Channel in between England and France. Having served as a vocal point in previous battels, it holds a lot of historic sites, as well as newer attractions, such as the oldest theme park in the UK and Queen Victoria’s palace.
And… As it happens, Halloween takes place on the first day back at work and school. There are some pieces and songs that are associated with Halloween, such as Bach’s Fugues and the Adams Family theme songs. Music can create a wonderful atmosphere so you might still like to listen to some of this music even if you don’t do anything special for Halloween as such!
